Loading a file
Editomat can edit pure ASCII files - files saved from Word as .txt.

Or, you can cut/paste from a word processor like Word or OpenOffice into the main Editomat screen.

Or you can attach Editomat to a document that is currently open in MS Word.

To load a .txt file:

  1. Click the File Menu.
  2. Select the Open option.
  3. Browse to the file you want to load and select it.

Editomat remembers the last 10 files you've edited.

To reload a file you've worked with recently,

  1. Click the File Menu.
  2. Select the Recent option.
  3. Click file you want to load.

Editomat will warn you if you attempt to load a new file over one that you've been working with.

If you've made some typos or changed your mind about edits, you can reload the file that you are currently working on by clicking the Reload icon on the main Action Button panel.
